The Differences Make the Difference: Milpark Housing Project

Happy ending is about to be reached at the Milpark Houses, one of the most prestigious projects in the Esenyurt region consisting of 996 units. Decoration and landscaping works of the Milpark Houses, whose investor is Milpa A.Ş., an affiliate of the Doğan Group of Companies, are in progress as part of the first phase that comprises 315 housing units. Delivery of the units to their owners will begin in August 2010.

While practically all housing projects that are offered to sale in Turkey attempt to distinguish themselves with their properties that involve earthquake resistance, rich social facilities and sophisticated electronic systems, the Milpark Project, despite the fact that it comprises all of these aspects, makes the difference with its rather discreet specifications.

February 2010 June 2010

Structural System
The Milpark project uses the Industrial Formwork System that offers flexible, health- and environment-friendly structures whilst eliminating the heat and sound insulation problems, radon gas release and magnetic field disadvantages of the Tunnel Formwork System, which has been banned in both Europe and the United States yet, however, is used in almost all of the housing projects in Turkey because of the cost and time advantages it offers.

Mechanical System

The “Grey Water, Treatment and Recycling System” used in the project provides home-owners water savings at 60% during operation.

Soil Improvement System
The 50-km long Bored Pile System used in the foundations of the buildings make the entire project one of the safest in this region of Istanbul where an earthquake risk is daily increasing.

Floor and Ceiling Systems
The RC floor system that has been manufactured within a tolerance limit of max. 10-mm, eliminates usage of screed finishing that exerts additional weight on the buildings.
The gypsum board suspended ceiling that hides the entire M+E systems, on the other hand, provides additional advantages with respect to decoration and fire safety.
