Subsequent to the legal adjustments that have been made to raise the periodic roadworthiness testing system in Turkey to the EU standards and the transfer of the implementation to the private sector, TÜVTURK Kuzey, founded by the DOĞUŞ-AKFEN-TÜV SÜD Consortium, launched its activities to build and operate Vehicle Inspection Centers.

The concession contract for transferring the operation rights of the Vehicle Inspection Centers over a 20-year term foresees the building of minimum 189 immobile and 38 mobile centers in 81 province and 88 district centers Turkey-wide over the 18 months following the execution of the contract on August 15, 2007.

PY Consulting International contributes to this project by providing extensive project management services that include the assessment of the land alternatives that are proposed by the business partners according to the criteria determined by the technical specifications in all provinces and districts, local consultancy services to the business partners in their search for new land alternatives, and the execution and inspection of the construction.

PY Consulting International is currently providing these services with a dedicated team of 25 composed of engineers, architects and urban planners that are based in the Project Support Office established in Istanbul and the eight regional offices.
