Upon receiving an invitation from the Libyan Prime Minister Mr. El Bagdadi,  a joint delegation of Turkish Consultants and Contractors headed by the Turkish State Minister Mr. Zafer Caglayan, has made an official visit to Tripoli on 5th. of January 2010. The delegation has been accepted by the Libyan Prime Minister Mr. El Bagdadi and the Minister of Commerce Mr. El Ruveyj and a detailed briefing has been given to the delegation by the directors of Libyan authorities. Turkish Consultants and Contractors were invited to take more active roles in new projects to be developed in Libya. Our company was represented by our Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Haluk Dogancay.
Beginning with 2010, Libya is promising considerable incentives to foreign investments under the new privatization law and regulations and is targetting more than 150 billion USD investment opportunities within the next 3 years. Libya accepts Turkey as strategic partner and provides challenging opportunities to Turkish consultants and constractors in the new public and private investments.
